Parable uses a self-service onboarding form to process access requests from new users. This onboarding form is designed to accommodate most access requests. This article is a step-by-step guide to completing the onboarding form.
Note: Completing the onboarding form does not immediately grant access to Parable. Both admins and users requesting access should monitor their inboxes for emails from Parable containing account activation links. This link must be clicked to activate an account before it can be used to log-in.

New User Access Walkthrough
Requesting a New Account
Navigate to the Parable website on a desktop web browser, and click the sign in link at the top right.
On the sign-in page, click the "VA Single Sign-On" button. Parable will detect that you have not been granted access yet, and you will see the onboarding form.
Select Region
If a local admin is already active for the selected Region, they will be listed, and you can simply click the "Send" button at the bottom right.
The listed admins will receive an email from Parable notifying them of your access request. This email contains a link the admin will follow to complete your access request, which will trigger another email to you (the new user requesting access). Click the link in the email you receive from Parable to complete the process and gain access to Parable on the web and mobile app.
If you select a Region without an active admin: You will be asked to designate an admin by providing their email address. To designate yourself, click the checkbox.
New Region
If your Region is not currently live on Parable and you cannot select it from the dropdown, click the New Region tab on the onboarding form.
Enter the name of your Region and, optionally, designate a Setting, which is a subcategory you can use to distinguish patient populations based on specialty, facility, etc. Designate an admin for the new Region by providing an email address, or click the checkbox to designate yourself.
The designated admin will receive an email from Parable with a link to complete the new Region and administrator request. Parable's VA team will also reach out to New Regions with onboarding support.
Administrators: Access Requests
When a new user for an existing Region makes an access request, administrators for that Region will receive an email from Parable containing a link to the Access Requests page, where pending requests can be viewed and managed. The requesting user's settings can be edited, and the access request granted or denied.
